Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham was honored to participate in Hickory Senior Living’s Cottage Retreat at Lake Guntersville this month. This three-day event provided education for the administrators and nurses employed by the facility and others in the area.
Anita Pritchett, consultant pharmacist, spoke to the group about deprescribing, which is the process of intentionally stopping medications to help improve a person’s health and reduce side effects. Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham proudly sponsored dinner for the group that evening. We are honored to work with Hickory Senior Living and provide their pharmacy services for their homes in Alabama.
