Recently, Southern Pharmaceutical was presented with the opportunity to be involved in supporting a mission trip to Peru by providing much needed medications for the medical team to dispense.
The clinic saw 1837 patients in 4 days! Each individual was given a multivitamin and anti-parasite medication for their whole family. A majority of the adult patients also had blood pressure problems, so they were given medications for that as well.

Some of the other medications distributed were Tylenol, ibuprofen, antibiotics, and medication for heartburn.
One of the healthcare workers wrote us to say, “Southern Pharmaceutical helped so much in getting so many of these needed medications! The people of Cusco, Peru were blessed because of it!”
