We are proud to announce the opening of a satellite pharmacy at the Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center (NWAMHC) in Jasper. Led by Southern Pharmaceutical pharmacist Jeremy Smith and pharmacist technician Ashley Gambrel, the new pharmacy will serve clients at the center as well as those visiting the Capstone Cottage Clinic located on the grounds. A grand opening event for the satellite pharmacy is scheduled for early April 2015.
NWAMHC is a non-profit dedicated to serving those with mental and intellectual disabilities, as well as those suffering from chemical dependency. The center prides itself in its quality services and its well-developed continuum of care. Adding this onsite location will help us better serve the center’s clients and increase medication availability and compliance. In addition, we will continue to provide delivery services to NWMH’s other residential programs and facilities throughout Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker and Winston Counties.
This new location further expands the SPS footprint in Alabama and allows us to reach more clients across the northwestern part of the state.
