National Assisted Living Week, established in 1995, recognizes the role of assisted living in caring for the elderly. During this week, assisted living communities offer events and activities to celebrate the residents in their care and also help spread awareness about this unique aspect of long-term care.
This year’s theme, ‘Caring is EssentiAL,’ resonates heavily with industry workers during these unprecedented times by highlighting the incredible care provided by essential caregivers in assisted living communities across the country.
