One of the greatest joys of the Holiday Season is the joy of giving to others, especially to those in need.
When we were informed that one of our clients could use personal care items for their Mental Health clients, the staff at Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham jumped into action.
We organized four teams and each team was challenged to which team could collect the largest number of personal care items to be donated. With team names like the Peppermint Twists, Red Nose Reindeers, Team Fab-U-Lous and the Noel It Alls, we were sure to get into the Holiday Spirit.
At the end of the challenge, the four teams had collected amost 2000 items to donate! All items were organized and delivered to a very grateful client, with donations going to residential group homes and other patient care centers throughout the Birmingham area.
Our Guardian teams really enjoyed challenging each other to donate more items each week during the challenge. We hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season and we look forward to servicing each of our clients in 2018.
