In celebration of National Assisted Living Week September 11-17, 2016, Peachtree Assisted Living planned a themed activity for each day of the week. The residents were able to participate in daily activities to collect “tickets” for gift bags that were given out at the end of the week. Southern Pharmaceutical was invited to sponsor the “Sports Day” activities for the residents and we were more than happy to help out.
We furnished football snacks, drinks and shakers along with a few fun activities. The residents were asked football trivia questions and the winner received the shaker of their choice representing the school colors from the University of Alabama or the University of Auburn. After that, they participated in an exciting game of Ladder Ball and Corn Hole to finish off the activities.
