This year is off to a great start at Southern Pharmaceutical Services. We are adding new technology that will benefit our clients and patients. Since our client base is growing, we are also currently in the process of adding another medication packaging machine with exciting new features. This new machine will enhance our ability to serve our long-term care clients accurately and efficiently.
Additionally, over 80 percent of our long-term care clients are utilizing eMAR systems to increase patient care accuracy. Our ability to interface with multiple systems offers our clients several choices when selecting their preferred system.
Lastly, we will be attending and sponsoring many exciting events in the coming months – a one-day conference featuring Teepa Snow, the Assisted Living Association of Alabama (ALAA) Spring Conference, and the Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Board conference. We look forward to sharing the highlights of these events!
