As a member of the Assisted Living Association of Alabama (ALAA), Southern Pharmaceutical Services was invited to attend the organization’s fall conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama. The event was attended by assisted living administrators, directors, owners, nurses and many others.
The theme for this year’s conference was “Finishing First,” which gave vendors an opportunity to incorporate the Kentucky Derby theme into their booth decorations and door prizes. SPS showcased one of our medication carts and our eMAR system, QuickMAR, at the event.
Attending the conference to represent SPS was Philip Boyd, Wendy Kallaher, Tess Davis, Anita Pritchett, Terri Payne and Shiroya Square. Staff members had the opportunity to visit with our assisted living partners and enjoy a nice limousine ride with them to and from dinner at Mikey’s Grill in Hoover.
As always, we enjoyed seeing our clients and making new connections in the industry.
