On August 12, Southern Pharmaceutical Services proudly hosted the Assisted Living Association of Alabama’s (ALAA) regional meeting. The meeting was held at our pharmacy in Irondale and was attended by more than 25 industry professionals.
The focus was on the Alabama Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and featured director Virginia Moore-Bell. Virginia spoke to attendees about the purpose of the Ombudsman program and its mission to advocate for people who live in long-term care facilities.
All industry professionals in attendance earned continuing education credit. We would like to thank everyone who attended the regional meeting and assisted in making the event a success.
