Our Team
President and CEO
Philip Boyd is the President and CEO of Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. He has been leading the team at Guardian Birmingham since 2008. Since joining Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham, Philip has been an integral part of its transition to a full-service pharmacy that now serves more than 3,000 patients monthly, including clients from such diverse areas as Long-Term Care and Outpatient Services. Philip holds a BE in Electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.
Director of Finance & Administration
Kristy comes to Guardian with over ten years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle and finance. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University and her MBA from Walden University.
Director of Operations
Mary Leigh Latham serves as Director of Operations for Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. She has been a pharmacist for 26 years and joined Guardian Pharmacy in 2004. Mary Leigh earned her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama before completing her Pharm.D. at Samford University.
Director of Client Services
Andrea Silas, RN has joined our team as Director of Client Services. Andrea comes to us with over 20 years of experience in clinical, sales, and operations. She has served in various leadership positions. Previously held titles within the senior living industry include Director of Health Services, Licensed Administrator in ALF/SCALF, Executive Director, and Regional Director of Operations for multi-site in multi-states throughout the Southeast.
Director of Business Development and Marketing
Tess Davis serves as Director of Business Development and Marketing for Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. She has been with the Guardian team since November of 2013. Tess has over 20 years of sales experience and has a marketing degree from The University of Alabama.
Business Manager
Kaylee Lynch serves as the Business Manager for Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. She has worked for Guardian for 11 years and has a BS degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
