In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham rallied its employees to support The Alzheimer’s Association’s The Longest Day through a baked goods silent auction. The event, held on June 20, saw 36 participants bidding on a variety of treats, ranging from savory BBQ to homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies, and cakes.
The auction raised over $850 in funds dedicated to Alzheimer’s research and support programs. Each item auctioned off not only symbolized the creativity and generosity of Guardian’s employees but also served as an important reminder of the cause they were supporting.
“We are thrilled by the turnout and the generosity shown by our team,” said Tess Davis, Sales and Marketing Director at Guardian Pharmacy of Birmingham. “It’s amazing to see how something as simple as sharing baked goods can bring people together for such an important cause. Alzheimer’s affects so many lives, and events like these allow us to contribute meaningfully.”
