Southern Pharmaceutical Services is looking forward to hosting a conference featuring Teepa Snow. The conference will be held on April 10, 2016 at the WMU Building at 100 Missionary Ridge, Birmingham, AL 35242. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the conference will end at 4:00 p.m.

The early bird pricing is $30 for registrations submitted before March 21 and $35 after March 21. The registration fee will include lunch for each registrant.
Topics will include:
- Managing Behavior: Start with Yourself
- Pain – How to Recognize & Intervene when Pain is a Possibility
- Enhancing Mobility and Reducing Fall Risks
Continuing Education will be provided for:
- Nurses -7.2 hours of continuing education
- Nursing Home Administrators – 6 hours of continuing education
- Assisted Living Administrators -6 hours of continuing education
(6 hours may be applied toward the Category II requirement for cognitive impairment/dementia education)
More about Teepa Snow:
Teepa is an occupational therapist working as a dementia care and dementia education specialist. She has over 33 years of clinical experience in the field of geriatrics and dementia care, as well as having provided care to family members with dementing illnesses. She is an advocate for those living with dementia and has made it her personal mission to help families and professionals better understand how it feels to be living with the challenges and changes that accompany various forms of the condition so that life can be lived fully and well.
